Having never gone on a road trip with Jill, this was the summer! Jill and Paul and Don and I went to Colorado and prowled around.

Our first stop was lunch in The Shed in Santa Fe, and then through O'Keefe country. It is easy to channel G. O'Keefe when one is in the Abique valley! We climbed a hill and found where she must have been sitting to do one of her river pictures, even blue paint on a rock!

Jill took great care photographing this little cross, then discovered as she got up that she had a bunch of cactus hair in her left "cheek". How we sacrifice for our art!
